Games round up for Christmas
- 18 Dec 07, 12:50 PM
2007 has been a vintage year for video games, whatever system you own. Here's a breakdown of the very best games this Christmas, as Top 3s for everybody in the family. I've tried to make the lists as varied as possible, but many games in specific categories could just as easily go elsewhere. In particular, my ultimate game of the year is Super Mario Galaxy on Wii - a brilliant, standout masterpiece every gamer should play.

Day 4 of the live lounge tour...The Enemy
- 13 Dec 07, 12:52 PM
day in day out we continue to have the most brilliant time - wonderful hosts, brilliant music and a LOTs of fun...as you'll be able to see in the pics and films online. Today we got to know the Enemy a little bit better - seeing drummer Liam's swords and crossbow skills....playing 'Know Your Enemy' - and finding out that Tom doesn't drink hot liquids, FUMES when his pasta is served with Octopus and missed out meeting Noel Gallagher at the NME awards cause he had to be put to bed early in an alcohol related incident. When at school Andy used to shoot biro pens from the folds in his belly and the entire band are obsessed with Adidas trainers - Tom actually now buys two pairs at a time - one he can wear and the other he can keep for posterity.... Not happy that Tom put the monkey i gave him in a blender...

We have put some behind the scenes photos here for you and also check out the video of me cutting Jacks hair...

We're on the road next week
- 7 Dec 07, 01:16 PM
So - we head out on our roadtrip this weekend….first stop…chez Mcfly…I'm so looking forward to it - the reason being we get to see a different side to all the bands. Instead of them coming to our studios they are talking to us on their terms - they're a lot more relaxed and we get to snoop around their homes and get a glimpse of how they are when they're off duty...

Live Lounge Tour 2006 - Noel Gallagher memories
- 7 Dec 07, 12:34 PM
As this year's Live Lounge Tour is about to kick off, we thought we'd remind you of the fun and frolics of last year!
Noel Gallagher was a magical show - it had the feeling of being a real event. Outside the house there was a cluster of people - Ben was our winner and his family were just wonderful - it was like an enchanted kitchen - every kind of food you could ever dream of.
We took Noel into Ben's room where there was loads of Oasis memorabilia - Noel looked a bit freaked out at seeing his face on the walls but then he gave Ben a little guitar lesson. How stressful is that - having your hero teach you?!
The whole day ended with Noel memorably playing Half The World Away with Ben doing the hand claps - spot on.

Live Lounge Tour 2006 - The Kooks memories
- 6 Dec 07, 05:50 PM
As this year's Live Lounge Tour is about to kick off, we thought we'd remind you of the fun and frolics of last year - enjoy!
The Kooks was all shades of chaos - it was bacon sarnies again - courtesy of the lovely Paul, the band's drummer.
We played guitar hero - I was especially good at the Foos. I asked the band not to swear - they nodded obediently - we went live on air and pretty much their first word was sh*t or was it f*ck? They were actually mortified... How we laughed.
There was a bit of a drama with a missing capo - a metal clip vital to get the right sound from one guitar so their tour manager had to hold his finger in place for one whole song. He was sweating wildly by the end!

Live Lounge Tour 2006 - Lily Allen memories
- 6 Dec 07, 05:39 PM
As this year's Live Lounge Tour is about to kick off, we thought we'd remind you of the fun and frolics of last year - enjoy!
Last year Lily's was the perfect start! We had to walk along many gangways to find the boat - I slipped and found myself within a millimetre of swimming in the canal!
Keith Allen was in charge of bacon butties and inside we snuggled up with a mug of tea, looking at pics of Lily as a baby on all the walls and gossiping - it was very cosy and smelt of cheesy mash pie.
Lily sang sweetly then toddled off at the end in a full size dinosaur babygro.
