Born Coventry 1931.
Lived in City until 1941.
Moved to North Staffs when the Daimler factory was re-located. My Father Fred Cox was the dispersal engineer.
Finished schooling in 1949 and accepted His Majesty's invitation to engage in National Service.
Sent to Hong Kong where I served him valiantly on the cricket field playing for the Medical Corps.
成人快手 again I spent three years in a Textile mill, spinning yarns, and then left to train as a Teacher at Loughborough College.
Subjects were PE and DRAMA and it was Drama in which I found my career.
I taught Drama in Nottingham before leaving to take up the post of Assistant Drama Adviser in Cornwall.
This led to County Drama Adviser in Derbyshire and then to Deputy Principal of The Manoel Theatre Drama School in Malta. This was to set up the School and to introduce Drama teaching in the Malta schools. On return I taught Theatre Arts at Clarendon College in Nottingham before leaving to run a Guest house in York. Now Sort of retired I write Plays and poetry and am currently trying to set up a Community Drama group in Cotgrave where we have "settled?"
