In South Africa 54,000 rapes are reported every year, although most attacks go unreported. The programme looks at sexual violence and South African society. In a survey in the Eastern Cape, 21 per cent of men admitted to having taken part in a rape. The programme speaks to both victims and abusers, and looks at the issues in society which may have increased incidences of sexual violence.
