What drives female Chimpanzees to Violence?

Female chimpanzees can be as violent as males – but not perhaps for the same reasons

Researchers in Uganda have observed female – as well as male – chimpanzees killing the offspring of an incoming females but propose different socioecological explanation for their behavior.
