Liberal Party wins the Canadian election
Liberal leader Mark Carney has called for unity in the face of US President Donald Trump.
Mark Carney's Liberals are projected to form Canada's next government, marking an historic turnaround for a party that looked to be headed for collapse just months ago. The party has not yet secured a clear majority in parliament - meaning it may have to work to unite Canadians in the face of tariffs and threats from US President Donald Trump. We join our chief international correspondent Lyse Doucet in Canada to hear more.
On the day of his inauguration on 20 January, US President Donald Trump promised to deliver the 鈥渕ost extraordinary first 100 days of any presidency in American history鈥. For decades, the 100-day milestone has been viewed as a symbolic test for a new president - a moment to step back and assess the progress of a new administration. So how have the first 100 days been? We speak to White House correspondents to find out.
