Katy Perry went to space but does that make her an astronaut?
She went to space and she liked it.
It鈥檚 2025 and Katy Perry has officially gone to space. On Monday 14th April, she strapped herself into the Blue Origin rocket and blasted off like a 鈥淔irework鈥 with five other well-known women. The rocket is owned by Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos and his fianc茅 Lauren Sanchez was also on board. The women claimed this all-female mission was to 鈥渢ake up space鈥 but the reaction to the trip has been 鈥淗ot N Cold鈥. Some argue this wasn鈥檛 a win for feminism, only for the 鈥淩oar鈥 of capitalism.
But what is space tourism? And are regular people going to start flying to space and become 鈥溾楨.T.鈥?
