What is a Proms Plan?
The Proms Planner is a tool designed to make it easier and faster to buy tickets when they go on sale. It’s essentially a wishlist of the tickets you’d like to buy. You can even add parking and pre-save your card details.
You have between Thursday 24 April and Friday 16 May to peruse the programme and add your favourites to your plan. Then, at 9am on Saturday 17 May you simply log on and redeem your plan.
When can I create my Proms Plan?
From 9.00am on Thursday 24 April, you can visit the Royal Albert Hall website and fill in your Proms Planner.
You must complete your Plan by 11.59pm on Friday 16 May in order to make a booking. Please note, creating a Plan does not by itself result in a booking.
The ‘Select Your Own Seat’ option is not available via the Proms Planner or during the first few days that Proms tickets are on sale. You will be allocated the best available places within your chosen seating area.
How do I create a Proms Plan?
You can create your plan using the Planner until midnight on Friday 16 May by following these steps:
1. Create an account on the Royal Albert Hall website. If you’ve registered with the Royal Albert Hall before but you’ve forgotten your password then you can reset it there too.
2. Browse our Proms season on the Royal Albert Hall website, and if there’s a Prom which catches your fancy, just click the ‘Add to Planner’ button to add tickets to your plan.
3. You’ll then need to select where you want to sit for that Prom. You can familiarise yourself with the seating levels .
The Arena and Gallery levels cannot be booked in advance or added to a Proms Plan. The ‘Select Your Own Seat’ option is not available for the Proms Planner or during the first few days that Proms tickets are on sale. You will be allocated the best available places within your chosen seating area.
4. Keep adding – there are eight weeks of Proms concerts so feel free to add as many Proms as you want to your Proms Plan.
You can now also securely save credit/debit card details when creating a Plan to speed up the process when bookings open.
