John is joined in studio by Big O & Owen Denvir, a singer songwriter and creator of a new music puppet show on YouTube set on the island of Carubia where everything you touch turns to music. He finds out about why worms are so important and why people should sign up for course to learn more. ‘She’ Shanty group Selkie, Ireland’s only female shanty group from Portaferry, perform live in studio. As Belfast prepares to host a special Sci Fi convention Eastercon, for the first time in its 76 year history, John hears from two successful science fiction writers Ian McDonald and Jo Zebedee. American singer-songwriter Carsie Blanton chats about her music ahead of her Irish gigs. And don’t discard the nettles in your garden as John travels to Aghalee to find out the goodness of nettle tea and meet Noreen Van De Velde who is using the stinging plants for health benefits. Paula McIntyre cooks a yummy grilled cheese sandwich with a Greek twist.
