As part of the The National Youth Orchestra Easter gathering it presents 'To the Beat' celebrating the vibrancy, exuberance and excellence of youthful music-making.
The NYO programme includes Stravinsky鈥檚 bellet Petrushka in the 1947 revision, colour and virtuosity. Also in the programme, Jennifer Higdon鈥檚 dynamic Percussion Concerto featuring 成人快手 Young Musician of the Year 2022, Jordan Ashman; and Leonard Bernstein's Symphonic Dances from West Side Story - plus a few surprises as well.
