Elizabeth Alker introduces an afternoon of great music-making from around the world including this week's live concert from Wigmore Hall featuring the Sitkovetsky Trio with viola player Eivind Ringstad in a programme of Faure and Beethoven and orchestral music from Denmark and the start of a cycle of Beethoven piano concertos in specially made recordings with some of today's foremost pianists.
