It is the day of Fanny鈥檚 departure. This is goodbye. Laura tries to put on a brave face but is crushed and embarks on a dangerous journey. Danilo comes by the estate, looking for his missing, newlywed son. Nikolaj and Henrik are overwhelmed by the dawning realisation of the consequences of their actions.
