Beaumaris Castle 3
The roadshow returns to Beaumaris Castle, Anglesey, where finds include trophies from the Isle of Man TT race, a dog collar from 1765 and work by local artist Charles Tunnicliffe.
The roadshow travels to beautiful Beaumaris Castle on the island of Anglesey, north Wales, where presenter Fiona Bruce learns about the history and heritage of the Menai Bridge.
Treasures discovered by our team of experts include a dog collar from 1765, a Royal Doulton vase with a dragon decoration and an atlas of Anglesey. Joanna Hardy is thrilled to find jewellery once owned by Lady Megan Lloyd George, daughter of David Lloyd George, the former prime minister. She was the first female MP for Wales and represented Anglesey.
Lisa Lloyd spots an articulated Saba doll made in the 1920s, and watch-and-clock specialist Ben Wright values a large pocket watch, also known as a coach watch.
Heading north from Anglesey lies the Isle of Man, where Marc Allum finds a collection of trophies from the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy (TT) road racing event for motorcycles. And Fiona鈥檚 observational skills are put to the test by Asian art specialist Alexandra Aguilar, who presents three objects that may not be all they first seem.
