Grease at Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Ocean by Polly Clark
Len chats to the director of a new production of the iconic rock ’n’ roll musical Grease, starting at Pitlochry Festival Theatre on Wednesday.
Author Polly Clark talks about her new novel Ocean, the story of an inner-city schoolteacher caught up in a terrorist attack who embarks upon an epic sailing trip on a yacht with her family in the hope of repairing their fracturing relationships.
Via Pitlochry Festival Theatre’s summer show, Grease, we’ll be stepping into the world of 1950s Rydell High School to follow the whirlwind romance between new girl Sandy Dumbrowski and popular guy Danny Zuko, who find their summer love challenged by the pressures of teenage life. Director Sam Hardie joins Len to talk about this co-production with Blackpool Grand Theatre.
