British trombonist Annie Whitehead is back with a second 4/4 selection of the week. Tonight, she chooses an album helmed by an artist she deeply admires.

There鈥檚 also music from Necktr, Yiasena, Emily Tran, and from Giacomo Smith's 1925, a band brought together by the Italian born, American clarinettist and saxophonist to summon the sound of 1920s Harlem, as part of 成人快手 Radio 4's "New York 1925" series. The band featured Giacomo Smith, trumpeter Laura Jurd, trombonist Daniel Higham, banjoist Alexander Boulton, pianist Joe Webb, drummer Corrie Dick, and Soweto on saxophone.
