Oswestry 23
Join Caroline Hawley as she hosts another episode at a bustling antiques fair in the border town of Oswestry.
Caroline Hawley isn’t beating around the bush when she quizzes fairgoers in Oswestry about her mystery object, while two dad-and-daughter teams search for bargains among the stalls. Partnered with expert Lesley Kiddell-Spencer are Dave and Lois, who are on the hunt for animal and car-related items. Meanwhile, shopping with Colin Young are fitness fans Ian and Ella, who are keen to spot jewellery and brooches.
With £300 in their pockets, Lesley’s team immediately swoop on two gliders, but damage to the wings means these won’t fly at auction. Over with the blues, Ella spots a wooden pastry mould in the shape of a thistle. She’s keen because of her Scottish heritage, but will it make them enough dough?
From Oswestry, the teams travel north to Stockport, where they hope to make a fortune in Tom Blackmore’s sale room. Colin proves that brown furniture still has an appeal among the bidders, while Lesley aims to drive up profits with an item of automobilia.
