Milly lives in Selkirk in the Borders and believes that her Scots accent has been affected by formal singing lessons. Her family meanwhile feel she is ‘posher’ than them but Milly is confident that she can speak Scots well with them. She talks about the importance of preserving the Scots language and that signing up to a series of workshops at the Scots Scuil will help with this.
