Grenfell Tower resident Costa Suarez says he is 鈥渏ust thankful his parents are alive鈥� after the Grenfell Tower fire.

His parents managed to escape the building quickly, but Costa said: 鈥渋f they would have waited five/ten minutes more, they may have had to go through much worse conditions.

There have since been protests over the response to the disaster.

However, Costa said: 鈥淯p to now, we鈥檝e got no complaints, [the council] have done everything swiftly and quickly.鈥�
