Conor McGregor says his trash talk was a β€˜slip of the tongue’

Conor McGregor has admitted that it’s been β€œhard to keep everything in check” in his trash talk battles with Floyd Mayweather and admits to β€œslips of the tongue”.

Speaking to 5 live, McGregor said: β€œOf course there’s been slip ups, we’re only human. When you face a man you’re about to fight it’s hard to keep everything in check.”

β€œThe overall experience has been great for boxing, for mixed martial arts and combat sport all over the world.”
