β€˜We are Exeter, we’re red and white, we speak together openly’

Hundreds of Exeter City fans joined together before a match to read a poem written by club poet, Rob Casey.

The poem was about the community of the football club and the spirit of the fans.

β€œWhat meant so much to me was that they were taking part in it – we were doing it together,” Rob said.

This was part of ³ΙΘΛΏμΚΦ Radio 5 Live’s Word Matters: Read Out Loud challenge.

Rob often performs poetry to small crowds and numerous events.

β€œIt’s really quite moving to see how involved they were,” he said.
