Can SEND be catered for effectively in mainstream schools?
The government has just launched a search for mainstream schools that are effectively catering for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
Percy Main Primary in Tyneside is hoping to lead the way and is now piloting an 'additionally resourced provision' where up to 12 children with Education, Care and Health Plans get targeted help in a mainstream school.
Our correspondent Sanchia Berg and producer Sareen Bains went to see the work in action.
