In the second programme on protecting the planet, we’re looking at ways in which we can help to preserve the biodiversity of our own environment. In the second part of the story, Sam and Jo are inspired by what they have learnt about biodiversity to create a local habitat for bees, whose numbers seem to be dwindling. Despite setbacks, with perseverance and by persuading others to get involved, they achieve their aim.
