Miranda Sawyer chats to director Melina Matsoukas about her latest feature directorial debut Queen and Slim written by the Emmy winner Lena Waithe and starring Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner-Smith which follows a black Ohio couple on the run. Matsoukas is the woman behind some of the most iconic and influential music videos of the last decade including Rihanna's We Found Love, for which Melina won a Grammy (and was the first-ever solo female director to do so). She also directed Formation by Beyoncé.
