Born in South Shields, Jade grew up in a house filled with music and began performing in her teens. When she was fifteen, she auditioned for The X Factor for the first time and made it to the boot-camp stage before she was eliminated. Undaunted, Jade went home and finished school, trying out for The X Factor for a second time in 2010 and again a year later after she’d turned eighteen. They say ‘third time’s a charm’ and this time Jade was placed in a group with three other girls –– Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson. Together they were Little Mix and were the only girl band to win the show. Little Mix were hugely successful and since their debut they’ve been acknowledged for helping the girl band renaissance in the UK and for re-defining girl groups. They also co-wrote their own songs and Jade shares songwriting credits for more than fifty tracks across Little Mix's six studio albums including two UK number one singles - Wings and Shout Out To My Ex. In 2022 Little Mix announced they were taking a break so the band members could pursue solo projects. Jade signed a solo recording contract and last year released her debut solo single Angel Of My Dreams which was a huge hit. Jade finished 2024 by winning the Trailblazer Award at The Rolling Stone UK Awards and appearing on the cover of the magazine. She triumphed at this year's BRIT Awards winning Pop Act and delivering the stand-out performance of the night with Angel Of My Dreams. Following a summer performing at festivals including Glastonbury, Jade’s just released her Debut Solo Album called That’s Showbiz Baby! And she's about to go on tour.
