Alnoor Mitha is a Research Fellow in Asian Cultures at the Manchester Art School. He was a founder and Artistic Director of Shisha, an internationally award winning agency for contemporary South Asian crafts and visual arts. Born in Uganda, Alnoor trained as an artist under the renowned sculptor Anish Kapoor. Over a career of twenty years, he's built a reputation as a curator, writer and an expert in the field of South Asian visual cultures.
