A young women - who survived 96 per cent burns after a coach crash, has received a seven-figure settlement. Catrin Pugh was 19 years old, and on her way back from a ski season in the French Alps, when the coach she was travelling in crashed and burst into flames. Catrin said: 鈥淚 remember being on fire, and having to have the flames stamped out 鈥 my skin was charred, and I thought I was going to die. I refused to close my eyes because I was afraid I wouldn鈥檛 wake up again.鈥 She was given a one in 1,000 chance of survival, and is still on the road to recovery three and a half years on. 鈥淚 spent three months in a coma, and the road to recovery has been a very long one with various problems, but I have had to be positive and keep going,鈥 Catrin added.
