Former Eurovision entry Nicki French popped by to see Tony Blackburn, and told him how she felt when she represented the United Kingdom in Stockholm in 2000. Nicki French, singer: "I thought I would be really nervous on the night but I wasn't, I was excited. When I walked out on the stage in semi-darkness I just looked out at the audience and thought how I'd dreamed of this moment. "It went in a flash, and I was talking to Lucie (the UK's entry this year) just last week, and I told her to just try and be aware of what's going on. "For me, as a singer... this was my kind of Olympics."
