Meet Australian triathlete Dave Lowry - the man doing an Ironman triathlon ride on a BMX bike in memory of his late brother. The Ironman is one of the most gruelling sporting events in the world, one which involves covering over 200Km with a swim, a bike ride and a run. Back in 2005, his brother quipped it'd be fun to watch someone take on the ride on a BMX and following his brother's death, he ditched the more traditional sleek aerodynamic road bike for a modified BMX bike. He’s been telling Sportshour’s Caroline Barker why he’s decided to take on the mammoth task on such tiny wheels and why raising awareness of mental health challenges is so important.
