This weekend over 2,000 indoor and outdoor rowers and fitness enthusiasts will take part in the British rowing Indoor Championship. This will be across a series of disciplines and age categories, as part of the UK's biggest fitness festival FitFest, which 15,000 people are expected to take part in. A group of individuals who train across Romford, Dagenham and Ilford, as part of a rowing group called Cool Rowings, will be taking part in this year’s Championships. All competitors in this group are 60+ and they’ll be taking two coach loads of competitors and supporters for the day. Weininger Irwin, the group’s leader, was the first ever male winner of Gladiators back in the 90s. ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ London's Chris Slegg went down to Romford to find out more.
