Why are TB cases in Leicester highest in the UK?

Latest figures show that Leicester has the highest detected rate of TB in England for the second year in a row. Tuberculosis is a bacterial infection that mainly affects the lungs - and cases of active infection have been increasing nationally. Public health experts say there are numerous factors behind the rise last year including increased migration and extra testing.
