New book helps language barrier in Afghan families

A local author in Leicester has written a book for local Afghan families divided by the language barrier. Ferishta Bakhtari-Boodoo says learning simple phrases in both English and Persian-Dari will break down the language barrrier between the younger and older generations. British-born children can struggle to communicate with their own grandparents because their families moved here from Afghanistan. She has published a book - Our Fruits - which uses pictures and simple phrases to help them talk about produce from Afghanistan. Ferisha spoke to 成人快手 Leicester reporter Jeremy Ball.
