There's been a range of negative responses to a speech by the British prime minister, Theresa May, in which she offered members of parliament what she called "one last chance" to deliver Brexit by approving her EU Withdrawal bill. The United Nations says food aid is being diverted by some corrupt and uncooperative officials in Houthi-held areas of Yemen, where millions of people are believed to be on the verge of famine. The United Nations envoy to Libya has warned that fighting in the capital, Tripoli, marks the "start of a long and bloody war". Ghassan Salame told the UN Security Council some countries were fuelling the conflict with arms supplies.
