The president of Malawi, Peter Mutharika has been narrowly elected to a second term in office. The result came after an injunction ordered by the country's high court was lifted. In the UK, the battle is on for the top job in politics. After Theresa May announced she's resigning as Prime Minister, many of her Conservative MPs are throwing their hat into the ring. At least 45 people have died after a boat sank on Lake Mai-Ndombe in western Democratic Republic of Congo. The majority of those on board were teachers going to collect their salaries.
