It’s festival time on today’s show as presenter Christina Trevanion delves into the fascinating history of a global phenomenon - the Glastonbury music festival. She learns about its co-founder Andrew Carr, who in the early 1970s worked with dairy farmer Michael Eavis to establish this unique event, which attracts more than 200,000 visitors every year.
At the Bath & West Showground in Somerset, the teams hunt for antiques alongside experts Kate Bliss and Gary Pe. In red, partners Trevor and Chris love music, classic cars and pubs. They’re drawn to a metal fire pit on a base made from horseshoes, but will it be their lucky charm? Couple Tina and Jim on the blue team are big fans of vintage collectibles, and Tina’s eyes light up when she spots a 1940s handbag - but it turns out to be a modern copy made in Taiwan! Which team will come out on top when their items go under the hammer at Tim Weeks’s auction house in Chippenham?
